The Elura Edit exists because of a gap that's obvious once you notice it: affordable jewellery doesn't stay looking good, and jewellery that stays looking good isn't affordable.
Look at what's actually available in minimalist, everyday jewellery right now, and it splits into two camps. On one side: budget pieces, often labelled "anti-tarnish" loosely or not at all, that turn green, dull, or flaky within weeks of normal wear — the label promises more than the finish delivers. On the other side: pieces with a genuinely good gold-tone, anti-tarnish finish that actually holds up — priced at ₹2,000, ₹3,000, sometimes more, for jewellery that isn't even real gold.
Neither of those is a real choice. So The Elura Edit was built to close that specific gap: minimalist jewellery, priced ₹199–599, with a gold-tone finish that's genuinely anti-tarnish — not loosely marketed as such, but actually engineered to hold its colour through the kind of daily wear a lecture hall, a desk, or a full day out puts it through. That's the whole premise. Not "affordable jewellery" as a category we happened to land in — affordable AND durable-looking, together, on purpose.
We're upfront about what it is. Every piece here is artificial, imitation jewellery, finished with a gold-tone, anti-tarnish coating over brass or alloy. Not gold-plated. Not real gold. We say that plainly, on every product, every time — because the honesty is the point, not a disclaimer we're hiding. Gold-plated jewellery carries a real (if thin) layer of actual gold that wears off with scratches and sweat. Ours never had that layer to begin with, which means there's nothing to wear off — just a finish designed to hold its colour through daily wear, the exact thing "anti-tarnish" is supposed to mean and often doesn't.
Small-batch, by necessity and by choice. This isn't a warehouse operation. Every design gets picked, priced, and shipped by one person, which means slower growth than a bigger operation — but also means nothing goes out the door that we wouldn't wear ourselves. ₹199 to ₹599, no exceptions, no upsell games, and no finish that quietly stops looking like gold three weeks in.
